Join us at four primary destinations in India where you will dive deeper in to your own yoga practice whilst benefitting from each location and what it has to offer to your experience. You will be guided by Yogic Wisdom’s team whilst enjoying many yoga practices, a unique yoga class with Indian Yoga Therapist Dr N. Chandrasekaran (Dr NC), a 3 day workshop on ancient Yogic philosophy (Bhagavad Gita), a visit to Mt Arunachala and a 7 day stay in the worldwide capital of Yoga, Rishikesh.
Along the way you will experience the unforgettable train journeys of India, make your own comparison between the hustle and bustle of the cities and relaxing destinations such as Rishikesh, situated at the top of the Ganges River near the Himalayan Mountains. You will also have the opportunity to explore with scheduled free time throughout the retreat.
Bangalore & Chennai 12 – 18 March
Starting with Karma Yoga, a visit to the Ashraya school and orphanage in Bangalore to take part in the daily programme supported by Yogic Wisdom. Travel by train to Chennai and spend time with Dr. NC for a personal Yoga practice and a 3-day workshop on the Bhagavad Gita. Learn how to apply the universal lessons of the Gita to your own self-development.
Tiruvannamalai, Ramana Maharshi Ashram 19 – 20 March
Home of the beautiful Ashram dedicated to Ramana Maharshi at the foot of Arunachala Mountain. Ramana Maharshi was a realised Yogi, a Advaita Vedanta philosopher and Saint. Climb Arunachala and meditate at various caves that Maharshi lived in, as well as attending the Ashram for spiritual practices.
Rishikesh 21 – 27 March
Many people journey to this part of the world for Yoga retreats. We will be staying on the banks of the Ganges River where you will benefit from daily yoga teachings, visits to great spiritual places along with free time to explore this fantastic destination.
- Yogic teachings with DR NC and the Yogic Wisdom team
- Accommodation based on twin share basis. Staying in 3 star deluxe or 4 star hotels

- All transport throughout the tour including all train tickets and an internal flight from Chennai to Delhi

To secure your position in the Yogic Wisdom India Retreat, a non-refundable deposit of $300 is due before 30th October 2016.

Payment and Refund Policy:
Retreat fees (not including non-refundable deposit) will be refunded if you withdraw from the retreat up to one month prior to departure 12th February 2017. A refund of 50% of retreat fees will be considered up to two weeks prior to 12th March, if your place in the retreat can be filled. All other payments are non-refundable after the retreat commencement date. In circumstances such as personal difficulties and illness, payment may be transferred to other Yogic Wisdom programs.
